Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Business Development Manager to lead our strategic growth initiatives and foster new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, identifying potential markets, and cultivating strategic partnerships to expand our market presence. As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's future by driving innovation, exploring untapped markets, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Analysis and Strategy Development: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential opportunities. Develop and refine business strategies that align with company goals and objectives, ensuring sustainable revenue growth.
  • New Business Identification: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities by networking, attending industry events, and leveraging existing connections. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points to tailor solutions that add value to clients.
  • Partnership and Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and key stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling business proposals and negotiate partnerships that drive mutual business success.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Lead the sales process from lead generation to deal closure. Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. Develop and deliver persuasive presentations to potential clients, showcasing the benefits of our services.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of the overall business strategy by providing insights and recommendations based on market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback. Collaborate with senior leadership to align business development efforts with company goals.
  • Team Leadership: Provide mentorship, guidance, and leadership to a team of business development professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture that encourages innovation and accountability.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and evaluate new geographic markets, industry sectors, and verticals for potential business expansion. Develop entry strategies and execution plans to capture market share in untapped areas.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Track and analyze key performance metrics related to business development efforts. Generate regular reports and presentations to provide insights into the effectiveness of strategies and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 7-10 years in business development, sales, or related roles, with a focus on B2B sales and strategic partnerships.
  • Demonstrated success in consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and translate them into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and lead a team.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools.
  • Adaptability and willingness to travel as required.
  • B1/B2 visa is an added advantage, facilitating international travel for client meetings and conferences.
